Quality Veterinary Care in Valley Village Since the 1950s

While it may not take a village to raise a pet, you do need the help of a skilled and experienced veterinarian you can trust. Your dog, cat, or rabbit is a treasured family companion, and when you bring it to Aloro Pet Hospital, you're not just choosing a veterinary practice that strictly adheres to the highest standards of veterinary medicine – you're working with a practitioner that understands the special place in your heart that your pet occupies.
Your Neighborhood Pet Doctor
Aloro Pet Hospital was founded in the 1950s by Dr. Antonino Aloro. Our chief veterinarian, Dr. Suresh Dogra, has been with the practice since 1986.
The hospital continues to practice the honest, friendly, neighborhood veterinary medicine that has made it the trusted pet care provider for generations of pets, while also incorporating cutting-edge medical care, diagnostic technology, and surgical services. Providing you and your pet with the highest-quality care and excellent customer service are our top priorities.
Regular Pet Wellness Exams
You can help ensure a lifetime of wellness for your pet with Aloro Pet Hospital's customized pet wellness care, which includes a comprehensive nose-to-tail examination, vaccinations, and preventive treatments. Identifying issues before they become serious is both the key to long-term good health and to keeping the lifetime cost of caring for your pet as low as possible.

What to Expect at Your Appointment
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. For your pet's safety, please ensure all dogs are leashed and all cats are in a carrier. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a friendly receptionist and asked to provide basic information to establish a medical record for your pet. Please bring any paperwork you have relating to your pet's medical history. Don't worry if you don't have any - we're more than happy to help you answer questions on our form when you come in.
Community Service
One of the biggest elements in our success is the San Fernando Valley community, which is why we highly value the chance to give back through volunteer work. Doing so allows us to support and say thank you to the community, as well as help area dogs and cats in need. Our veterinarians and medical team are grateful to be able to devote time to the East and West Valley Animal Shelters, Animal Rescue Media Education (ARME), Pet Orphans of Southern California, and Pawpurrs Kitten Rescue. We also open our practice to schools for educational tours and host a career day for high school students at our hospital. We also help our neighborhood elementary school care for its rabbits.
Our veterinarians and medical team strongly support and encourage adopting rescued pets by offering lifetime discounts on wellness care for all pets adopted from any Los Angeles city animal shelter.
